African-Americans are impotent
The putrid use of African-American reeks of trying to give importance to a group that clearly doesn't deserve it. Such discrimination is revealing, as those who insist on using the inflated term fail to refer to White people as anything other than white rather than Euro-American, or British-American, etc.
It reminds me of the joke about the old black man who went to the doctor and his family noticed afterwards he was always wearing a suit. When asked why, he said, "If the doctor says I'm impotent, I'm going to dress impotent!"
African-Americans are impotent enough to be hyphenated when normal Americans, including Black Americans, prefer to be known simply as AMERICANS.
